iPhone help needed

how do i get the sim card out of my iPhone?
my mate who has one says it is stored on the top of the phone and there is i little hole there you put a pin in and out it pops, well it isn't working for me.

Thanks have done it with a pin , I think I was being too gentle. I needed to get sim out and put it in my home phone to transfer numbers.

what's the iPhone like, apart from difficult to get the sim card out? AM drooling, but fear it's a unnecessary extravagence

I don't think you can transfer numbers by changing SIM card.

iPhone syncs with Contacts on your computer (which is great) so normally you have to put in all your numbers into Contacts.
