Long shot- has anyone here used Poser?

I know the chances are slim, but I'm trying to decide whether to buy (or whether there's an easier to use cheaper alternative- I don't need it for flash stuff).

Basically I work on interactions of severely autistic children. As part of this I get screen shots from video to show the important part of an interaction (so for example in one photo I have 2 adults 2 children sat around a table, one child making eye contact with 1 adult and requesting something with an outstretched hand). I'm writing a paper to send to a journal (and hopefully there will be more coming) but need to anonymise the photos.

Pixelating doesn't work that well. A lot of people use sketches- I can do that- have a graphics tablet. but I saw a paper that had used Poser to recreate the positions and stances of photos and I'm wondering whether to do that. Every year confidentiality gets more important and the sketches could be recognisable. Poser models really couldn't be.

I've only got the trial version at the moment as I'm trying to assess whether to go down the sketch (easier to do, faster, but not as anonymous) versus Poser (slower, steep learning curve, but definitely anonymous).

oh god sorry. We have had vommy bug in the house. Have spent last 3 days wading through vomit.

I think for the moment I'm going to go with sketching pictures (I saw my supervisor today and he preferred the sketches) although I may come back to Poser later.
