In Mozilla, if you type "about:plugins" in the address bar, it will list all the plugins. You should have one for Flash version 9.0. It have any for previous versions it may cause problems.

harleyd · 26/03/2008 11:53

yeah i have flash 9 installed

im losing my temper lol

No earlier versions?

I had this problem when version 7.0 and version 9.0 were both there. It only saw version 7.0 and when I managed to delete that, then the problem went away.

harleyd · 26/03/2008 16:11

no i had deleted earlier versions
but the weird thing is just 5 minutes ago for no apparent reason its started working again through internet explorer, but still not firefox
im baffled, but at least its working somewhere
thanks for your help though

I have this problem on the lap top at home, we have vista and apparantly they have very high security settings on it that prevent certain downloads and that even techies have trouble getting the settings right- I have tried everything to no avail and have given up. If someone could advise a foolproof (I am an IT duffer!) way of fixing this I would literally implode!!

harleyd · 26/03/2008 16:31

yeah i have vista on this one and it drives me insane sometimes lol
never had trouble before
