ipod help please

dh is setting his nano up, so far downloading from itunes. How easy is it to transfer from cd ? Instructions with it are rather basic and I doubt he'll have bothered looking online - men!

Just stick the cd in the drive, and Itunes should import it automatically, or at least prompt you if you wish to do that.

vERY EASY. If yuo already have itunes you just put in your CD and follow the prompts.

It does takew a while to do 1 CD though, as it syncs each song individually.

Then you have to drag each track to your ipod.

Itunes can be set to automatically sync with the ipod so you do not have to di it manually (sync is basically creating a mirror) image of your itunes library on your ipod.

just click on the ipod icon in the itunes left hand window... you can then set the system to sync automatically and also only sync checked files..

All you then need to do is uncheck any songs that you do not want to have sync'ed on the device and from now on if you add a new cd just connect and it will automatically transfer
