How can I get back my 'back' button, please help!

It has gone, not sure where, during the last hour. I am backbuttonless and have to right click every time I want to go back.

Please has anyone got a clue how to get it back?

I have no idea what I did.

Right click on the task bar - oh, wait, are you using IE?

Yes IE

Right click on the grey bit of the toolbar, near where the back button was

Click on customise

You should find the back button in the box on the right

Left click on it, then click add and close.

Oh it's Ok! WT you're a star, but I have realised I had maximised an advice page from paypal, and used that to go to MN so it had no proper buttons for some reason. I am now sorted x

Am on IE on the Computer What Hates Me and regularly sees fit to rearrange my desktop, my task bar and my life.

Ah so you know how to get out of the scrapes it gets you into!

One more thing Wandering...I don't get my email notification symbol any more. It left about a week ago

Tried customising notifiactions but it comes up on the list as a 'past' item, not current. No idea why - any thoughts?

Ah I have got it now. Not sure how, mucked about a bit with the taskbar...

I will prob find I have lost several other items of major importance in its place, but hey...that's the joy of IE!
