Should I buy an 'all singing all dancing' laptop - this one cost £700 about 2 yrs ago

Or should I buy as cheap as possible as it is only going to last 2 yrs so why pay more

Or should I buy a Mac

Tell me what to do I have computer indecision - I have been chuntering about this for about 6 months now

it has everything you need... what make is it??... and how about the price??

One point to note is that huge screen = shorter battery life..

Geekboy - I would tend to agree about Lenovo except for the fact that if you do get a good one then it will last forever.. I know people who have the same experiences with Dell and HP

KatyMac · 29/02/2008 08:25

The last one is a dell £450
The one before that was a Acer £550

My friends have just bought a Dell 1525 and it's brilliant. It has windows vista on it and, it's also got a built in web cam and a media centre with which they can watch dvd's and tv! It's very smart!

KatyMac · 29/02/2008 15:38

Hmm

I think I need the bigger screen otherwise when doing spreadsheets I can't get as much on the screen or it's really small
