Transferring SMS text messages from Android phone to Windows 10 PC

I've been looking for ways to copy my text messages from my Galaxy to my PC. It's just the ones between me and one other person I need.

The other person has not kept the messages at their end and I need to put the messages into Word and send to them as an email attachment.

Found lots of ways, but all seemed too complicated. Is there an easy way?

Hi, there are probably all sorts of software that does this - there are for iPhone - but as a simpler solution, could you screenshot each page of messages and then email the pictures to yourself for embedding in Word? It's not elegant I'd agree and hopefully someone who knows Android apps / phones can help more.

Trouble is I want to email them to the other person as a Word attachment (or possibly as part of an Excel workbook), since we are trying to discuss a financial issue that has arisen between us.

There are too many to do it with screenshots, plus I need to include all of them - there are some he won't think are relevant, but I beg to differ.

And I will look to him like a complete weirdo if I forward him the original texts by text IYSWIM - there are a fair few number!

In case anyone comes across this thread with the same question, I found an app called AnyDroid. It did the trick. (I paid for a year's subscription, but it wasn't that much, and it was worth it to me.)
