Desktop etc has turned 90 degrees on screen

DS has been playing on the computer and now everything on screen has turned 90 deg sideways. I remember in the past with another laptop I just dragged the task bar to the right position and it corrected itself, but that doesn't seem to work.

Press control and the down arrow

I'm not the best at techy stuff but I definitely think it's a poltergeist.

Right mouse click on the desk top and then select graphic options, you will be able to select normal. That's how I fixed it after my dd altered the screen.

Thank you so much - problem sorted by tinpot's method. I had the laptop sitting on the table sideways, but difficult to type that way!!! And my neck was aching!!! Thanks all again.

The shortcut is to press CTRL and ALT and the up arrow (3 keys altogether).
