I need a new laptop power cable, what do I buy & where from?

Do I go to Acer or somewhere else

Is it easy to buy I do I need to be techy

google the exact model of laptop followed by the words 'power cable' and that will give you the results you want.

I have bought one for mine and if I can do it (being completely non-techy!) anyone can!

My local Maplin sells Laptop power adapters.
There is a Amazon seller who has one suitable here cost you a little under £35 including postage.

Have a look on your current power adapter, to see what Wattage it is, and what DC volts it outputs. These are usually written on the bottom of the adapter.
