Dash cam that records when vehicle is parked

Is there such a thing ? Or at least a motion detector that records if anyone comes near vehicle ?

Yes. Both our nextbase cams have the option to be set to record like this. Available from Halfords. Check online as they seem to have offers online that aren’t always on the store shelf.

Just to add. They don’t all come with rear view cameras. You may need to buy one if you do want to record front and rear activity’s.

I’m thinking of getting dash cams front and rear.I’m a real technical idiot though!

I’ve seen so much aggressive driving recently, tailgating, people generally driving really badly.

Would a rear dash cam with a warning sticker help does anyone think? Might it stop people tailgating me?

Regardless, I’m getting one for insurance purposes incase I have an accident.

@Paul2023 i think they do help. I have front and rear cams. People seem to back off/improve their driving as soon as they spot them. - usually because they are too close behind me!

I got mine from Halfords. I also paid for them to install it. They did a fab job, and were quicker at it than I would be. (Did so on advice from the police.)
