Bank fishy spammy thingies

Is there any need/way to alert the specific bank to these?
I have received 4 straight into my inbox (avoiding all spam filters) in the last week for halifax bank.
They are actually fairly professional and I worry that some people may be caught out by them.

My Hotmail account has a facility to report 'phishing' scams.

I don't open the suspect emails, just check the box next to the relevant email and report.

I hope that the more emails like this are reported the better.
