Clearing accounts from smart tv?

New TV arriving tomorrow.
Before I give away/scrap the old one, do I have to clear the accounts on it for security? TIA for any advice.

Depends on the make of the old tv. If you google the same question, quoting its make, you should get details. I did it and several options came up. Good luck.
