We currently have a lovely HP printer but the ink seems to run really quick and the cartridges are really expensive. We can't afford it!!!!

Does anyone know of a decent printer that won't cost the earth that also has affordable cartridges?

Thanks!!!

Errrrmm.. ...the one thing everyone should know about HP inkjet cartridges is DON'T replace them when they tell you to - what until the ink actually runs out.

I used to use Cartridge World to refill cartridges and never had any problems..

.. from my experience I would recomment the HP series of printers that use the 363 series of carts... you can get a full pack with some 6x4 photo paper for around £25..

Rule of thumb
Cheap printer (less than £100) = expensive carts

Expensive printer (greater £150 = cheap carts)

of course this printer breaks my rule

Take a look at these prices for carts
