BT email problmems....quite bizarre

OK I have a BT email acocunt
I have 4 sub accounts

I can email 2 of them & they can email me - no problem (DH & DD's)

I can email my main address form the other 2 but I can't reply & if I send an email from my main account it never arrives

DH & DD can both email the 2 accounts in question & receive emails form it

Why?? It's very odd

How do I fix it?

What am I doing wrong?

I am starting to wonder if CM likes KM (odd becasue they are both me )

Is each user using the BT/Yahoo Mail on-line interface, or are you using an off-line e-mail software (such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird)?

From your k.m@ e-mail you sent me recently, it looks like that user name is using Outlook Express 6.00
What are the other users using? Could it perhaps be a setup issue with having multiple users using the same Outlook Express? Just trying to think of possibilities.

try the online interface and not outlook,.. see what this does for you... if all works with no problem then it is something to do with the mail config for one of these tools...

Q - are all of these email addresses being used in the same logon profile on the PC at the same time??... this can also cause confusion and issues within the system

if it does not work directly from the web than you have problem within the BT environmenr..

ask BT.. they should know the exact spelling of that word

I sympathise with the BT "help"line problem.

For a company that makes billions from communication, their communication skills are pretty shit. I have never once spoken to somebody there who know what they are doing. And they still owe me £100, but I can't get it bcak because they are a biog bunch of shitheads
