Evening chaps

First thread so thought I would see who has watched the first episode of the last of us and have you played the game? I am quite impressed with the opening episode and am looking forward to the next one!

Opener good. Very like the game; even down to uncle Tommy’s pink shirt and Cuban heeled shoes.
Felt a bit underwhelmed and disappointed by the rest to be honest.

@Workerbeep I have been waiting for this series for so long and now it is here I am just glad. A little reserved in terms of action but I am sure now they have left the safe zone it will get better! 🤞

I absolutely loved it, but disclaimer: I’m more than a bit obsessed by the games!

I haven't played the latest one I am sad to admit I am aware of it as watch streaming of the game ect.. but will deffo be purchasing it for sure!

So excited for this! Absolutely loved the first game, haven't played the second as we don't have a playstation any more but it was a huge hit here. We're watching at the weekend but the trailer looked great.

Not familiar with the game but sounded an interesting TV show. Unfortunately I don't have Sky or Now so can't watch. I hope it gets picked up and bought by another streamer.

Fantastic- absolutely loved it. Pedro Pascal is beyond perfect as Joel.

I watched both game walk throughs with Techno Ninja during lockdown so very much looking forward to it, especially the "clickers"!

I found it immensely grueling. But also bloody brilliant. Not sure how you could say the first episode lacked action though! I needed a lie down afterwards. 😯

I can tell it’s good tv. I think it just might be too stressful though. 😬

I am a massive fan of the games and I absolutely loved it.
The casting was all fantastic. I'm excited for more.

Also a huge game fan and so far the TV show is great, but I love Anna Torv. Haven’t seen anything with Pedro Pascal in until now.

She was incredible as Tess. I'd thought she was good in Mindhunter as well.

I'm so glad I've found a thread about this!

I've never played the game and I know nothing at all about it, but I'm watching the TV series after a friend recommended it.

The first two episodes were brilliant and had me hooked right away but I just watched episode three and was completely blown away by it. It was the total opposite of what I was expecting, I cried my eyes out. The casting is brilliant, Ellie in particular lights up the screen. I can't wait for next week.

Haven't played the game yet but will when the series is over. I just watched episode 3 and it was so moving. I usually knit or crochet but I'm absolutely glued to this. Each episode has been so good and each one stands in its own right. Absolutely fantastic.

I haven’t played the games but am really enjoying the series. Wish I could binge it. A week between episodes seems way too long.

DD15 and I bawled at Ep3 yesterday. Was not expecting that.
