Wireless headphones with great range

I'm looking to get my mum some for Christmas. She would like to be able to go about the house while remaining paired to the device in the kitchen, and not lose any audio quality. Can anyone recommend any? Of course there are lots of doorways and stairs and things, but I'll pay for really good ones that can keep her connected.

I have a pair of airpods by JLab and wear them at work. When I pop into the kitchen through two sets of heavy doors and across the lift shaft etc they still connect although only when I line up with the door.

Just going to try them out in the house now!

OK, in our fairly long house, by the time I had reached the furthest part of three rooms away (same floor) they had disconnected. We're talking 10-15m and three solid walls.

Upstairs they're fine in the room above where I left my phone, but patchy in too many other directions.

I might be wrong, but I thought Bluetooth only had a 15 meter range, so you might be more limited by that, rather than the headphones iyswim.
