is technics a good brand for stereo's?

Technics is Teso's own brand - I've only ever bought an MP3 player from there - it was pretty cr*p, but it cost £2.97 so I wasn't expecting much from it (luckily...)I only bought it because DD had hers nicked & it just about kept her going from the end of August to Christmas.

Technika is tesco own brand.

Technics are very big in the dj-ing world for their decks, no idea on their stereo quality.

Slight memory lapse there - blame the menopause....

Technics used to be the high end name for Panasonic's parent company Matsushita. I don't know where they are now though in terms of quality.
