Not air pods

To use for calls WFH (so connected to a PC), commuting (connected to iPhone), and gym.

I've tried so many WFH headphone options and the only ones that ever worked well for me are the Samsung galaxy pro buds. I've just ordered the Samsung Pro 2 buds on the strength of this as the reviews say they're even better. I do have a Samsung galaxy phone though, apparently you don't get the same sound quality of try and use them with a non android phone.

I connect them to my laptop though for zoom calls (or phone if out) and they have been great for that so it may only be phones where you don't get all the functionality of non android. Connect to phone for Spotify.

Thanks @Trustylion
As I have an iPhone, I don't know those would work.

I wonder if anyone has the Google Pixel buds? I read that they can connect to multiple devices, which seems quite useful

Earbuds over Bluetooth for web calls are a bit of a mine field.

Airpods work really well with a mac, ipad, iphone. But rubbish on a PC.

It gets even more complicated as both earphones and Bluetooth receiver on the PC have to support the same Bluetooth audio protocols. SBC, AptX, AptX HD, AptX LL, LDAC, AAC.

Cheap small in ear BT earbuds tend to not to support a great deal of the better protocols. They're licensable software after all. You could even go super fancy, but your PC could let you down.

The best guaranteed option is using a headset with a dongle, which communicates over 5ghz radio. Much higher fidelity which your callers will appreciate.
