Trying to get satellite rural broadband sorted for MIL as the only supplier that will offer her broadband is Talktalk and current service is averaging 2mpbs. She can't stream TV or use Zoom currently and web pages take a good 5 minutes to load. We've replaced the router with no improvement and its not the computer, phone etc as we've tested these at our house and they're fine. She's the last house on the exchange.
Any experience of satellite? A local friend has starlink which she says is great but it is so expensive. Konnect looks a lot cheaper but not sure if there are drawbacks to it?
Usage would be a few hours of TV a night, Zoom for a few hours a week, Internet browsing and emails.
Any other obvious options I'm missing?
