What laptop for my ds?

Hi

My ds1 (who is 16)waqnts to buy himself a laptop. He has around £500 to spend.

I and DH have no clue what kind of spec etc he should be looking for and although he has an idea he's not 100% sure of what to get.

Anyone any advice?
