Incoming call issue re: iPhone. Please can somebody help?

Hi, please can somebody help with this query above?
I posted in chat but I’m not receiving any replies.

it’s in relation to incoming calls from outside companies, rather than from dh whose number shows up and you can either answer with the green phone icon, or cancel the call with the red.

When I am due a call that we are expecting from a company 0800 numbers etc, the phone just shows the keyboard and the red cancel button underneath for a few seconds, then shows on the ring icon that somebody has rang.

What have I done for this to happen and what do I need to do to rectify this so the green/red call options show like other calls I receive?

That should say key pad not keyboard.

Mine does this, thought it was standard.
But I don't get a green or red phone.
It's red to answer and red to end call.

In your settings, go on to phone and check silence unknown callers. Sounds like you have this option turned on

I think that you may have set it so that any calls from numbers not in your phone book are sent directly to either your answerphone or, are automatically declined I.e blocked.

You can check both options in one of the advanced settings for phone calls in settings. Its something I do from time to time, and can be done without realising what you’ve done.
