FB business page: question about assigning roles

I've read the FB instructions and from the sound of it you can make a person an administrator the same way you make a person an editor.

Just want to check as the person who is the administrator is claiming they can't make anyone else administrator as there can only be one. (So has made me an editor.)

Said person apparently has form for being power crazy, but this has been told to me by a person who apparently dislikes above-mentioned FB person and there's been a big falling out.

All this for something I volunteered to do for a local charity. It's worse than a petty school playground fight.

Trouble is I need to have administrator rights to do what I need to do!!

🙄

Total nonsense. You can have many admins with full privileges. I've managed upward of 50 pages throughout my career and been one of multiples on many occasions.

Thought this was the case. I managed a few pages and know that you can have multiple administrator on that. But I just needed to be sure as I've never managed a business page.

I assume also that when I was made editor the choice to make me administrator was in the same list, they selected 'editor' off. So in other words they purposely didnt select it.

To make this more fun, this is something I'm doing to help my dad, so I'm trying to so it out remotely.
