Upgrading from Kindle Paperwhite 2019

I've been a Kindle fan for years but really dislike my Paperwhite. The screen is small and it's incredibly laggy which is getting worse.

I was looking at other brands but have so many Kindle books I would prefer to stay with a Kindle for ease of access to the Amazon library.

I wondered if anyone has a 2021 Paperwhite or an Oasis and would recommend them? I want something responsive which can be read in sunlight and prefer a page turning button too.

I have an oasis. I love it. The text has space to breathe on the screen. I don't need to worry about dropping it in the bath. I have a non slippy cover on it and the weight/shape feels lovely to hold.

I have an Oasis and love it. The latest update included most of the new Paperwhite updates.

I prefer my Oasis to the Paperwhite.

I love my Oasis too. One handed page turning and when you swap it round the text turns over too. Lovely clear screen. All round great reading experience.

I think that the latest by September they are releasing an upgrade to Paperwhite Kindle software. I am annoyed how slow it is too. Oasis is bigger and tad heavier IMHO. But it has a button at the back for turning over pages which I think is the main thing I would love to have.

I have new paperwhite, the screen has no bezel anymore and is a good size. I think the page turn is only on the oasis. I looked at a few YouTube videos that compared the two before I went with the paperwhite.

Thanks all. Now torn between the 2021 Paperwhite and 2019 Oasis but have heard a new Oasis might be coming soon so wondering whether to wait to see

I have a Kobo libra. ( might be a Libra 2 )
like how I can read it one handed and use the side buttons to turn the page.

I am tempted by the Kobo but it looks like it would be a faff to transfer over my existing Kindle books

A program called Calibre might help.
I use it to upload all the formats of ebook to the Kobo.
i can’t remember if you can download from a kindle to your pc/laptop though!
