does anyone know anything about yahoo groups??

Having a bit of trouble
can read the posts but cannot post. can't find anything on the yahho group(spam or bouncing) any ideas what could be stopping the persons post getting through?

some groups you have to join and be approved before you can post - could this be the problem?

no they have joined and posted before. can post online but not via email.

Are the posts moderated ?

Some groups moderate the postings, some don't. Sometimes they moderate for a while and then allow you to post unmoderated when they know you are genuine (e.g my freecycle group does this). If in doubt e-mail the moderator of the group you are in and ask. A clue is whether or not the group allowed you to just join or whether you had to "apply" for membership - some are open to all, others are more selective about who they let in!

ok i am the moderator and it is someone else who is having trouble. they have posted before but now can only post if they do it via the web. their emails are not getting through. i have checked everything at the group end and all is fine.

Hmm, are they sure they are replying (or posting) to the group and not to individual members?
