do i HAVE to BUY a microsoft office disc?

i have microsoft office at home but i borrowed a disc of my brother in law. now we have a computer at work, it is our family buisness, and would need office there, but dont really want to have to pay around £50 of the office disc as i will only use it aroind twice a year.
does anyone know where i can get one cheaper, or some way around it?

Get openoffice for free - just like microsoft. Just google it and download.

no way around it these days, and I wouldn't risk it, especially in a business

so is openoffice legal, and does it have the same as office. i only need the spreadsheet thing to work with. dont need anything else i dont think.
although i got an email and needed an office code to open it. i could open it without the code 25 times but need a code after that iyswim

M$ Office is per seat based... so even if you are going to use it twice a year the PC needs to be licensed.... as stated above do not risk this for a business as the business owner is now liable for prison time if found out...

OpenOffice is fantastic and free... just download and install... it does pretty much everything M$ Office can do.. infact I have no idea why more people don't use it..

so if i download openoffice, im not doing anything wrong, and will it give me a code to enter into the email?
