sorry I'm not sure what to say to help as when I finaly tried to connect mine to my wireless yesterday it worked like a dream.... hmmm not helpfu at all lol

what is it saying when you try??

Can it see the router on the Wii at all? thats the first thing.....

so when you search for wireless hings it says it can't find any??

Is your wireless network secured? You may need to briefly unsecure it completely (in the router settings) then allow the Wii to find it, then add it from within the router (which will now 'see' it) to your router's list of allowed devices before re-securing your wireless network.

Your setup may be different from mine though. Have you tried Nintendo's guide to getting your Wii online ?

you may want to provide some details about your wireless network.. for example your route make and the configuration details for your home...
