Need help on golden compass game for DS Lite

Please help me - I'm right near the end and am playing the Zepplin attack level (I think). I have dismissed Iorek and climbed Lyra up various platforms using various switches. At the top I am blocked by huge boulders, I can't call Iorek back. When I send Pan over them in bird form there is a gate on the other side but I don't know how to open it or get Lyra to it.

I can't find any walkthroughs on line - so if anyone has already completed it - I would be very grateful for any help

Is the game good? Am thinking of getting it but don't know whether to get Zelda instead?

DH says that Zelda is better than The Golden Compass - he says it's a bit "kiddier" with regards to graphics but is more fun.

Having said that I am really enjoying The Golden Compass though it is a bit frustrating in places - I'm stuck again . Still if you get it I might be able to help you if you get stuck

please help me. im only in the air ship and need to find out where the missing children. ive tried everything on the compass that i can think of. please help
