Well, my iPod arrived this morning - plugged it in to charge and it asked me to select the language - automatically pointing to Danish, for whatever reason. I tried to move it up to English must have pressed too hard because it decided that I wanted it to be in Danish.

I don't speak Danish

It won't let me go backwards to change it...

Any ideas, please, lovely MNers, or do I have to go on a language course to use the darn thing?

I am already sick to death of dd's creative zen mp3, I spent nearly two hours on the creative website trying to find out how to reset the damn thing. Did it in the end though, so maybe that's the way to do it.

The website seems to have far far more info than the instruction booklet.

Oh, dear. Sorry for laughing and being no help whatsover as I neither speak Danish nor have a ipod.

You could always look for a Danish speaking MNetter in the Language/Bilingualism topic board.

I'd looked on the website but it kept saying I didn't have the right software to get the manual online (which I do) but after a few tries I managed to find out what to do - why they can't give you a proper instruction booklet (mine appears to have been written for illiterate monkeys as it's all pictures but no real help at all), I managed to sort it - ta!

Now for the joy of downloading my cd collection....
