If you have Windows Media Player, put in your CD, rip the music off as MP3 or WMA files. Before you start ripping them, you will need to select a destination for them. If you plug in your MP3 player, your PC should recognise this as removable storage. It usually gets called an F drive or something similar. If you have softeware with your MP3 player that should give you instructions on what to do.

prettymum · 27/12/2007 08:46

what mp3 player do you have?

when you connect mp3 to computer, autoplay normally comes up and you should open folder for it to see files.

if you already have music ready to be put into mp3, simply drag the musc to the mp3 folder and that should be it.

"if you already have music ready to be put into mp3, simply drag the musc to the mp3 folder and that should be it." that is what i thought...but apparently they aren't in mp3 format

santa - I've just got one too (also a cheap one). I had to copy the CDs to my laptop before I could put them on the mp3 player. Couldn't seem to do it from the CDs themselves.

prettymum · 27/12/2007 11:54

use windows media player to rip music from cd.

just put in cd and click on rip in media player.

then drag music to mp3 folder. should work hopefully.

Santaquated · 27/12/2007 11:59

sorry--what do you mean 'rip'?
load??

OP posts:
Santaquated · 27/12/2007 12:00

OP posts:
OrmIrian · 27/12/2007 12:00

If you have Windows Media player, rip appears as one of the tabs along the top of the screen.

Santaquated · 27/12/2007 12:02

the tabs along the top are
