how do I insert a memory card into a sony ericsson K800i?

I've got it opened but can't seem to insert it in the right way

There's a tiny flap at the side marked "M2". Insert the memory stick with the contacts first and facing up towards the screen of the phone.

but I think the girl in the phone shop (who told me to go get this in argos) has told me to get the wrong memory card, I get a micro sd card and going by the s ericcsson website is the wrong one!

bugger, £20 wasted as argos won't return memory cards
