Do I need a strap for my Air Pods?

I was given some Air Pods for Christmas, which I'd like to use on the train when commuting to the office becomes a thing again...
I am a bit worried about them dropping out and getting lost though so wondering if I need a strap? I've read some reviews which seem to suggest they can actually be counter productive as the strap can pull the Pod out of your ear.
Any experience/recommendations?

Where would you put a strap? I’m looking at mine now and can’t see where one would go.
I wear mine when out running, they never come out.

The ones I've seen are made a silicone and have a loop which the stalk bit of the Pod fits into.

I've always struggled keeping ear buds in, think I have funny shaped inner ears or something. Not air pods though, they stay firmly in - I walk to work with them in and they don't budge. You should be fine without a strap, would've thought that defeats the purpose of them.

Mine seem to stay in, I even wear them when I go running.

The risky thing is pinging them out by mistake with clothing etc.

Never lost and airpod and I use them when I ride my horse
