Apple One? Existing subscriptions across two users

My husband and I have quite a few different Apple subscriptions between us and I've just spotted Apple One which would save money. I can see that if I subscribe my existing subscriptions would not be billed further but can't see what would happen when I add DH as he subscribes to Apple Music. Does anyone know if his subscription will automatically be cancelled and membership will continue in the new Apple One subscription? Thanks in advance

You would need the family plan to share it and to set up family sharing across you all - then if I were him I'd cancel his, and then start adding him to the shared plan - I haven't had to do it myself but that's likely to be the least complicated option.

From what I recall we had one bill where it was knocked down a bit as I'd already paid the month of Apple Arcade (nice for the kids not to have shit rammed with in-app stuff to avoid) and I had free 6 months Apple TV for buying something or other - then they billed us properly each month and for the remaining months of free Apple TV - they just added credit onto my account a few days before and then used that to cut the bill down.
