IOS 15 screen layout

Just updated ipad to 15.1. Is there a way of spacing out the app icons as they seem bunched up closely in 3 or 4 rows per screen.

I don't think that this options now exists under iPadOS 15. All you can do is reduce the app icon size to give you more 'space' on the screen.

Mine did this when it updated too there is no way to change it back to how it was it is so rubbish
