Hi, We want to buy a color printer, to print photos but also that prints, photocopies and scans. Budget is about 100 pounds with the ink cartriges. I just don't know where to start to do my research, I was thinking about the Epson Stylus DX8400,any experiences with this one? What printer do you have and are you happy with it? What features should I be looking for?

Many thanks!

BP

I used to have an Epson, but got a fabulous HP 2575 All in one for about £60 at PC World (It was a deal which might still be on). It is really great. You can even have a special ink cartridge that does the black stuff for Photos that is not black black as ordinary print. Has a special port for camera cards/ phone cards etc to print directly or save on pc. It scans, photocopies and has a great photo package with it. I am very pleased with the printing quality.

The only drawback is the expensive ink cartridges. But i suppose you could use generic ones if you preferred.

Good luck
