My Facebook feed wont Update

Has anyone had this problem with Facebook where your feed for groups is days out of date? How did YOU solve it?

I have cleaned the Cache and Data in Settings/apps/facebook/storage but to no avail - nothing seems to work....grrrrr!

Have you tried logging out and turning it off and then logging in from another fresh machine?

Yes I have tried that as have Facebook on Desktop, Tablet and Phone but they were all the same. I tried uninstalling Facebook and then reinstalling from Google Playstore but the Newsfeed is still not working properly - such a pain as I am downsizing and have lots of items to sell or give away.
