DH suggested I have one for birthday/Christmas. Those who have one tell me what you love/hate about it. Thanks

Thanks. We have various i devices (pods, pads, phones) which all link together - does this do the same?

I've had one since they first came out and I love it. Amongst other things I use it for

Seeing who has just texted/messaged me.
Replying to texts if just an emoji needed
Finding my phone
Timer for doing stretches
Apple Pay
Checking my heart rate
Following directions in a city I don't know
Notifications from life 360 for when someone about to arrive home.

Oh yes and for checking the date/time.

I have one & love it - yes, it links with iPhone and other Apple stuff. There was a recent thread asking the same thing, rather than repeat what I said there, here's the link:

Had one for ages and love it. The ability to check texts and emails discretely whilst in meetings was the first and main thing, but they are very effective

My watch is linked to my phone, air pods
Yes you can pair watch with other apple products
And the Health tracker is useful too

If you have an iPhone then it's easily the best smartwatch.

Last forever too in my experience.

A must if you like to exercise.

Thanks all. Any negatives?

I started with a series 5 then upgraded to a series 6, mostly for the always-on display.

I use it with Runkeeper, my running app. I love that I can send and receive texts from it (the voice recognition is brilliant). I have weather and stock market widgets on the display. I love being able to see the outside temperature by glancing at it. And Apple Pay - so convenient to pay with the watch.

No negatives at all. You do have to keep it charged though, but I have a charger at work I put it on when I'm at my desk. It would be a fab gift.
