computer game for PC for 6 year old

DS1 doesn't have a playstation, Wii or Nintendo DS yet, but I want to buy him a game he can play on our PC for Xmas. He has a Lego game he loves and is very keen on adventure games, preferably those with an element of legend or fantasy. I'd like to avoid too much shooting! I have no idea which are the best games but thought someone on here might!

Best bet is to go to www.Gamespot.co.uk for reviews.

Most mainstream games reviewing is aimed at the main demographic of 22-30 yr old males, and the squawking adolescents that infest the internet.

www.commonsensemedia.org/game-reviews/ seems a bit more attuned to the thoughts (well, my thoughts) on the subjects of games and kids, and what's suitable.

Only just found the site, so can't comment too much on it. Bookmarking it though.
