I any really short of money which will explain why I have an old TV which isn't 'smart'.
I did use to be able to chrome cast tv shows and movies from my ipad or iPhone but the internet is so slow it doesn't connect anymore or it buffers constantly.
I would prefer my toddler watches her programmes on the TV rather than my phone as then I have a bit more control over how much she watches.
I have googled it any it seems that you can buy a connector? Lighting to HMDI? But then google also tells me that this won't work with Netflix etc?
As I'm skint I juggle between Iplayer/Netflix/Amazon prime/Disney and get a different one every few months for a month (not IPlayer - that's constant).
I don't want to have to buy a new TV and I can't afford better WiFi (not that I'm sure I can get better WiFi) - or maybe I need a WiFi booster as the TV is far distance away from the router?
