Spam/Phishing emails claiming I'm a winner / Getting up to 4 emails a day. HELP!!

For the past few weeks I have been receiving up to 4 emails a day from different companies based in Canada, Holland, China and bloody everywhere else on the planet for that matter!!!
They state that I have either won millions of pounds/dollars, a car, or can embark on a new investment scheme. The one from China was practically a begging letter!! They all have the same format with a list of details they want name/address/age/salary etc..
I keep reporting them as spam and delete them but I am still getting them. I've got no idea how they have managed to get my email address.
Does this happen to anyone else? and If so how do you get rid of them (for good).
They all have fowarding emails like Hotmail and Yahoo and I'm quite tempted to reply with F@*@ Off, I am hoping that if I ignore them They will give up and bugger off.
It's driving me nuts!!!!
Has anyone got any ideas?

Just delete them - don't reply as then they'll know your email address is 'live' and you'll get even more. Does your ISP have a decent spam filter? If so they shouldn't actually make it as far as your inbox. They're just one of those annoyances that you can't do much about.
