Norton or McAfee?

Which is the best, please? Norton or McAfee for work laptop which has work software on it. Thanks

I've had Norton for years, never had malware and never had a problem with it. I have the paid version.

I mainly work on Mac and have BitDefender on everything including my phone. Never had a problem, also includes a VPN with the package I bought.

Windows has defender built in.

Me, my wife and children have run 9 computers between us for ten years with no additional software and have had no virus or malware incidents.

Safe browsing habits and Windows defender should be sufficient.

Norton every time. Bought Mcafee once and regretted it so bad. Switched to McAfee because I got a deal as part of a purchase for a new laptop. Within weeks I had unknown viruses and had to get the thing completely wiped. It never worked the same. Norton on the other hand has never let me down.

Used to get mcafee on a multi device license , but for the last few years just used windows 10 own Defender.

The Norton bundle I have has some nice extras, like automatic cloud backup of my files.
