When I've been on the net for the past few days,I've noticed that some pages from websites are not completely downloading (I get a few images but not the whole page) I've checked Ebay and links from my email account and they are all doing it. It's driving me nuts!!! Any suggestions?

Do you think I have a virus?
MN is working perfectly though!

Sounds like a bad connection, or problems with the ISP dropping packets. Have you checked your modem (if not cable) and your ISP status pages?

Hello Wildfish Thank you.
Modem and cable seem fine and I don't mean to sound thick but what are ISP Status pages.

Okay who is the Internet provider?

jezzemx · 18/11/2007 20:49

Tesco.net

tesco.net status page
memberservices.tesco.net/TescoServiceStatus/ServiceStatus.aspx

and I think tesco resell ntl,

ntl cable status status-cable.virginmedia.com/vmstatus/summary.do

virgin.net status
gps.virgin.net/service-announcements/serviceInfo?serviceId=267&type=F

Tesco says all ok, virgin cable suffering some problems, and virgin.net (which I think is the adsl variety) is suffering some intermittent connections issues.

Are you using wireless ? If yes, have you tried using a wired connection to rule it out? Sometimes too many surrounding people with wireless connections can cause yours to jump up and down

Many Thanks
