how do i get my taskbar back to the bottom?

kids have been messing anout with my pc.

spooky! I have the same problem - DD(3) practising mouse skills. Mine's stuck at the side - yours?

press the windows button, go to control panel, find taskbar.....untick and tick again the always show on top button

If its at the side just drag it over to where you want it.

mine won't drag down to the bottom, it will only widen out sideways - grrr. any other suggestions please?

It should drag. Just sort of scoop it round from the corner.

it won't do it, there's nothing to get hold of. I'm just going to have to get used to it aren't I?

Click near the Start button, hold down the button and pull down towards the bottom

Right click the toolbar. Is the option that says "lock the toolbar" ticked? I thinkthis locks it in position so you won't be able to drag it.

My kids have done the same and it's really bugging me. None of the above advice works and it will only drag halfway down the screen.
