Hi geeky mumsnetters. Does anyone have a really basic guide to linking crystal reports to an online database? I literally know nothing about this stuff but have to set it up as part of my work (it's a trial). I'm now 2 weeks in and going round in circles. The IT company we work with aren't at all helpful (they don't want us to do this as we'd then stop paying them £250 to write reports for us!). Any advice would be so gratefully received. (I've tried Crystal Reports customer service - they were as much use as a chocolate fireguard).
