It's in a column on the right hand side of my screen instead of in a row at the bottom.

HELP.

Please

On my PC you just drag it so if you've tried that and it hasn't worked I'm probably not being pverly helpful...

I always come across this problem. The way I do it, is to try and drag the taskbar back down to the bottom. But it can be frustrating.

Hopefully someone will know an easier way.

I am trying to drag it . But it keeps not doing what I want it too [frustrated]. Which part do you normally drag it by (if that makes sense?)

I am too disorientated by it being in the wrong place (at least it is on the left and not the right now, which suggests I can move it)

And I've tried switching off and on again...

Hello Idris, put the mouse just over the left of the taskbar so it turns into a little arrow. Click and hold. Move the mouse to the bottom of the screen. you should see the outline of the taskbar (like a shadow) at the bottom. Let go of the mouse button. It should shift down to the bottom......

Tech, you are being very kind (do you spend your time looking for geek threads from people who lack the skills to be allowed in charge of a computer ?)

I'm not sure what the arrow in the first part of your instruction should be like [thick emoticon]. I only seem to be getting the "normal" white arrow.

I have however managed to get my taskbar at the top instead of the bottom ie in a row. So I must be capable of moving it. It is just rather too trial and error (and more error than I would like at the moment)

Unfortunately it is very frustrating. I find that if you put your arrow to the right of the Start, which usually has little short cut icons, and try dragging from there it works. Hope you get it to the bottom soon. When mine went to the top once, I just left it there and adjusted to getting use to it there, lol.

Ooh OOh

Put my arrow to the right of Start and I am back again .

Thank you!!!

Hehe no probs. Sorry it's taken most of the day to try and get it back! Lol.

Now you've got it back in the right place, right click on it & click on 'Lock the Taskbar'
