Google family link, parent changing phone help.

I have a new phone so will need to get Google family link on my new phone so it links to the dc's phones.

Is it as straightforward as getting the app on my new phone and signing in with the same email address? I'm terrified to do something and either lock myself out or disable the DC's phones. I'll set them to zero restrictions before I change anything in case it gets stuck 🤞.

I seem to remember when I upgraded my phone, it was exactly as simple as you say, install the parent app and good to go.

It's always worth keeping the old device handy though just in case there's any compatibility or teething issues (with any of your apps, not just this) or data etc that doesn't automatically sync. I'd keep the device switched off unless you need it though to prevent any weird conflicts where both devices are trying to overwrite each others cloud data etc.
