Will Apple Watch log pram walk?

I have a fitbit blaze. It irritates the hell out of me as when I go for walks pushing the pram it will not log anywhere near the correct amount of steps as holding pram and not swinging arm. If I were to get an Apple Watch would this log the steps and exercise?

I have an Apple Watch and have to tell it that I'm doing a walk if I want it to count when I'm on a walk with the pram- it measures heart rate etc then do counts the calories and exercise minutes more accurately - I like it!

Mine did when I was pushing the price, DH didn’t. We thought it was because I have a more “wiggly” walk.
