I am building an online business selling stuff and have been using Excel to track my sales and despatches. It's getting a but cluncky now that have more orders and I'd like a database format whereby I can just use a form to complete with fields for each value from which then saves it so I can amend later or use the collated info to get reports. I used to use Access is the days of yore. I'm Mac based now so I wondered what might be the best option. Nothing too whizzy, just something simple that is easy to build and has a user friendly interface.

Also I would prefer something that has a one off purchase price, not a monthly subscription. I don't mind if it is web based.

Something like Knack?

www.knack.com/

Or Ninox, if you want to avoid subscription. $40 or so for a Mac desktop version of that.

Thanks. Ninox looks perfect.

Have you thought about ordering software development, or databases, specifically for your business? I think that this will be the most efficient solution than maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
