So.
I have stored all my actual photographs nicely, and now need to start on the digital ones.
I have no computer or laptop- only a chrome book.
So- I assume that a cloud type storage is what I need?
I have amazon prime- in which I can use their storage- does anyone else use this? Any good?
I am worried that I won't want to delete the pictures as I don't really trust it!!

Can you save them onto an external hard drive as well as cloud storage? That's what I do so as to have an extra backup.

Yes- I would feel much happier with a "physical " storage too.
Is that what you do- have both?
Not sure if I can do it through the chrome book?

Does a chrome book have a USB slot? If it does, you should be able to connect an external hard drive to it with a USB cable and copy over all the photos to the external drive.

I have two external hard discs which are backed up to Amazon prime and the apple iCloud storage.

Thank you so much for your help!
We do indeed have a usb- which means that I can buy some physical storage. Might even get a stick with different connection points for phones etc.
I just got fed up of all these lovely memories being forgotten about on different devices dumped around the house!!
It's a time consuming task- but hopefully rewarded with some nice memories.

If you have a lot of digital photos, you'd probably be better off with an external hard drive of capacity up to 1TB.

Google Photos is the only cloud storage I use. Every morning I get a "highlights of the day" alert on my phone where it's created a little slideshow of my old photos. I've come across a lot of old pictures that way that I'd forgotten about. Maybe other cloud storages have similar features.

I did wonder about what size to get. I know I have a vast amount of photos. Not bothered about the quality- just the volume.
Thank you!

You're welcome. I did this recently myself and it feels good to have all the pictures safely in one place!
