Advice needed re Audible

I have an Audible subscription. It was great when I was commuting, I listened to audio books all the time. However I've now changed job and even post Covid will not have a long commute.

I want to keep my audible account but drop the subscription, so I only buy audio books as and when I am going to listen to them. Is that even possible? And do I still have access to all the books in my Audible library? I've looked at the Audible website but am still not clear

Thanks

Yes. Once you have bought a book it remains in your library whether you have an active subscription or not. You can still buy books without a sub but they are a lot more expensive.

Thank you. Yes, I know the books are more expensive but I've got about 15 i haven't listened to yet and I can't see myself listening to one a month. So it would be cheaper in the long run to pay as I use. Plus a lot of books I listen to after buying the kindle edition so I can do a mix, and often they are quite cheap to add an Audible version to.
