Tablet advice

I've been thinking of getting a tablet for a while. I'd like a Samsung and the 2 that I like the most are the S6 and A7.

My issue... my internet is with Sky, my phone is with Tesco.

I'd like the tablet to have internet access not just wi-fi.

My Q is should I use a contract with Sky to get the tablet?
If I get a tablet with LTE can I use wi-fi at home?

If you've got experience with these would you go with the A7 or S6?

Thank you for any help.

Can you not use WiFi at home and a hotspot from your phone when not at home?

I have the Samsung Tab A 2019 & it is lower spec than the models you're after but still good. If using it out and about is important, you could get the LTE version on a contract or just get the WiFi only version and connect it to your phone. My friend has the S6 & loves it but as far as I'm aware the A7 is also good. They both have call and text continuity so will sync with your phone to access calls and texts (if it is a Samsung) and their performance should be fine as well. I think you'd be happy with either.

I'm thinking I'll get the A7 with LTE.

I like the S6 lite but a bit expensive for me. Plus I dont really want the stylus which seems like a big selling point of the S6.

I've used a tablet before.
I just need one in a case that stays upright when watching Netflix!
